Terms of service

These terms form a binding agreement between you and TorestTech Limited (“Kryd”, “we”) governing your use of the Kryd platform. By creating an account you accept them.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for the security of your credentials, and for activity carried out under your account.

One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

You retain ownership of the information and documents you submit. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content for the purpose of operating the service, including displaying the parts of your profile you make visible.

You may not submit content you do not have the right to submit, including confidential material belonging to an employer where you are not permitted to disclose it.

Kryd records the method by which a claim was confirmed and the date it was confirmed. A confirmed claim is a statement about the evidence received, not a guarantee of a person’s performance.

Claims with no supporting evidence are shown as self-reported. Self-reported is a state, not a finding against you.

Submitting false information, or procuring a false attestation, is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported where the law requires.

Employer accounts may use search and profile data only to evaluate candidates for genuine roles.

Scraping, bulk export, resale of profile data, and use of profile data for any purpose other than recruitment are prohibited.

Employers must comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law when using the service.

Professional accounts are free. Optional paid features are described at the point of purchase.

Employer subscriptions are billed per role posted, as set out in the applicable order form. Fees are exclusive of tax unless stated. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

No unlawful use, harassment, impersonation, interference with the service, unauthorised access attempts, automated access outside published interfaces, or circumvention of usage limits.

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change. Material adverse changes to paid features will be notified in advance.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms or where required by law.

On termination, data is handled as described in the privacy policy and on the data deletion page.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim or USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos have exclusive jurisdiction.
